Got my start in radio broadcasting at San Jose City College's radio station KJCC in the 1990's and was a board operator for a local AM station for a short time. I recently returned to KJCC for the Fall 2022 semester.

I've been told I have the face for radio, but still wanted to put a face to voice behind the mic.
Got my start in radio broadcasting at San Jose City College's radio station KJCC in the 1990's and was a board operator for a local AM station for a short time. I recently returned to KJCC for the Fall 2022 semester.
MadMabie Tiki Radio has been inspired during the Covid pandemic when I discovered the Tikitrail Live YouTube channel that aired once a week during the pandemic. It was a delightful escape from the stress of the pandemic and teaching online. Tikitrail hosted guest Tiki/Polynesian/Oceanic artist and musicians plus Tiki mixologists. Creating mixed tiki beverages and listening to live music while reviewing art or learning about the history and culture that inspired Tiki culture was interesting, education, and inspirational.
I am prior service US Army (with an honorable discharge) and I can proudly say MadMabie Tiki Radio is veteran owned & operated.
